Wood-Fired

An ongoing exploration of form and function within the realm of Wood-firing. Wood-firing is an ancient form of firing kilns with wood as the only fuel source. While there are many ways to wood-fire, I appreciate firing in several day wood-firings that allow for a decent build up of ash that provides vibrant, stunning surfaces that cannot be achieved elsewhere.
