Wild Clay

A body of work I am developing where native clay is dug and sculptures started on location. Firing processes vary depending on the qualities of each wild clay to bring out their unique characteristics. As for subjects, I focus on species of wildlife known to share the same habitats as these natural clays to draw connections to the integral relationships between the environment and the animals living there.
